About us

Our Background

In Africa, businesswomen play an important role in the economies of their countries, contributing through their businesses towards the welfare of their families and communities. Despite these significant efforts, there are real impediments to the economic empowerment of women. Compared to men, women entrepreneurs have more difficulty in accessing credit, resources and opportunities, amongst other challenges.

In the understanding that many studies have indicated that entrepreneurs with larger and more diverse networks grow their businesses bigger, African business women are compelled to consolidate their business networks in order to expand their initiatives.
